The Bible shows us a picture of who we really are. Of course you have to read it and really think about what it says. Thinking about it. So many times we really don't want to think about who we are, what we are. Sometimes we're unsure, so we ask other people. That can be good or it can be bad.
Someone could tell you you are cool. But why are you cool? Are you cool because you wear nice clothes, because you're cute or handsome? Cool because you drink, you're part of the in-crowd, because you're popular, because you are considerate of everyone around you ... well, there could be many reasons.
It's probably not the best plan to rely on what other people think. You really have to figure that out for yourself. It may take a long time. Or it may not. It's a journey regardless. Sometimes we have an idea of who we'd like to be and sometimes we attempt to be that person and sometimes we succeed. And sometimes we don't.
Still, the Bible has the answers. Look for them. Seek, and you will discover who you really are. And aren't and don't want to me.
It's the journey ... not the destination. ... The journey ... my eyes were opened and I knew Him and my heart was changed. ... Won't you join me in my travels, meandering here and there, journeying within my mind and beyond, on paths great and small, through this world that was created by and belongs to the Lord God Almighty.
