We finally took the roll of film in from pictures taken in the Mount Vernon area in late September, but then because we forgot to get the photos on a CD, had to scan them for use here.

The next two pictures were taken in color, developed in color but scanned in black-and-white. This particular one is rather serene and peaceful, with cattle far in the background. It is located in rural Mount Vernon near the Abbe Creek School Museum. The second black-and-white photo was taken at Palisades-Kepler State Park and is one of my favorites.

This last picture was taken in early October near our house in Cedar Rapids. Our lone tree did not produce the magnificent colors of others and leaves are still on it inspite of the 50 mile-per-hour winds of yesterday.
