God loves you and God loves me. But God does not love what we do when it is against Him and His commandments. I recently came across a site called ChristianGays.com
and while I believe God loves the gay man or woman, I do not believe God loves how that person is living.
I Corinthians 6:9-10 says:
"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God."
It's the journey ... not the destination. ... The journey ... my eyes were opened and I knew Him and my heart was changed. ... Won't you join me in my travels, meandering here and there, journeying within my mind and beyond, on paths great and small, through this world that was created by and belongs to the Lord God Almighty.

You are absolutely correct - everyone wants a savior, it's the "Lord" people have a problem with. He's our Lord and Savior and cannot be one without the other.
