Psalm 119 - Aleph says
"Blessed are the undefiled (i.e., blameless) in the way who walk in the law of the Lord."
Who is blameless? Is it possible to follow the Lord's commandments and be blameless? We are human, we are not God, how can we be blameless, how can we be pure? Is it talking about cleansed?
There is no one, but Jesus, who is without SIN. The rest of us may make every attempt to follow the Lord, seek Him, walk in His ways, keep His commandments, YET, it is only through Christ's shed blood, His death on the cross, His burial and His resurrection, that we can be cleansed, saved, born-again. And even then, that requires a personal acceptance, a heart knowledge, an individual application.
It's the journey ... not the destination. ... The journey ... my eyes were opened and I knew Him and my heart was changed. ... Won't you join me in my travels, meandering here and there, journeying within my mind and beyond, on paths great and small, through this world that was created by and belongs to the Lord God Almighty.

Cathy, I am an Indian, very much in awe of Christianity. U know why? Because I think christianity is so very neat. Nearly all the countries which are christian are rich.
ReplyDeleteConsider India, we hindus think that our religion, culture, customs is all worse off, just because we are poor. This is destiny...
What if I was born in US ?? I'd have been rich...What do you have to say about it.... How do I justify God's impartiality ??
A "rich" country does not make a Christian. Some may consider the United States to be Christian, but I don't believe the majority of our citizens are. Richness also doesn't mean money. You can be poor, yet be rich. ... rich in God's blessings. My husband and I are not well-to-do, not even close. Yet we have many blessings. We have each other, we have freedom to worship the Lord, we have a roof over our heads, we have food to put on the table, we have jobs, we are able to attend the church of our choice, we have our eyesight, to see God's wonderful creation and read His holy word. We have ears to hear His word preached and hear the birds sing and music from our hearts. Being poor in material things doesn't mean you have to be poor in spirit. God is not impartial.
