"Let your conduct be without covetousness, and be content with such things as you have. For He himself has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.' " -- Hebrews 13:5
"Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. And the Lord said, He is the one who goes before you, He will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed." -- Deuteronomy 31: 6, 8
The Lord is with me at all times. He will not leave me. I must be strong, courageous as I go forth. Do not be afraid, do not fear what others may do or say. Do not seek what they offer, but be content with what you have.
"No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life... what shall we eat? what shall we drink? what shall we wear? ... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things." -- Matthew 6: 24, 25, 31, 32b
Who do you serve? God or what is of the world? We cannot serve both. We cannot have split loyalties - one is greater than the other. When we become anxious for what only may come, not what will, we do not give God the proper respect He deserves. Our loyalties are divided.
"But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, ..." -- Matthew 6: 33
"Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow ..." -- Matthew 6: 34
Prepare for tomorrow
Plan for tomorrow
Pray for tomorrow
Proceed with tomorrow
Trust God to Provide in your tomorrow.
It's the journey ... not the destination. ... The journey ... my eyes were opened and I knew Him and my heart was changed. ... Won't you join me in my travels, meandering here and there, journeying within my mind and beyond, on paths great and small, through this world that was created by and belongs to the Lord God Almighty.
