Yesterday in church we sang "Thank You for Loving Me" by David Crowder. It is a beautiful, worshipful song. Today, when searching for it on the internet however, I found the title to be "Thank You for Hearing Me" and the original words are not quite the same as what we sing in church. On the David Crowder Band Web site, the lyrics are:
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for finding me
Thank you for finding me
Thank you for finding me
Thank you for finding me
Thank you for hearing me
Thank you for hearing me
Thank you for hearing me
Thank you for hearing me
Thank you for healing me
Thank you for healing me
Thank you for healing me
Thank you for healing me
La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la la la
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for saving me
Thank you for saving me
Thank you for saving me
Thank you for saving me...
La la la la la laa
My Jesus, I love thee
I know Thou art mine
The words we sing in church are:
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for finding me
Thank you for finding me
Thank you for finding me
Thank you for finding me
Thank you for healing me
Thank you for healing me
Thank you for healing me
Thank you for healing me
Thank you for saving me
Thank you for saving me
Thank you for saving me
Thank you for saving me
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for finding me
Thank you for healing me
Thank you for saving me
Thank you for loving me
Thank you for loving me.
No matter.
Thank you Lord for loving me, always, continually.
Thank you Lord for finding me.
Thank you Lord for healing me.
Thank you Lord for saving me.
Thank you so so much. I can never repay you. But I am so grateful, so appreciative. So joyful to be one of your children.
It's the journey ... not the destination. ... The journey ... my eyes were opened and I knew Him and my heart was changed. ... Won't you join me in my travels, meandering here and there, journeying within my mind and beyond, on paths great and small, through this world that was created by and belongs to the Lord God Almighty.
