Kerplop!

The little acorn

falls

and falls

from high and higher

above --

The mighty Oak

standing firm

between human abodes.

Splatt! Kerplop! Kerplunk!

Acorn follows acorn

as it gathers

momentum

and hits

the ground

to whatever lies

within its path.
