Rewards

"My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work." - Revelation 22:12

Oh how easy it is for one to think it says we get to heaven by our works. But it does not say that. Not at all. Revelation tells about the end times, about the New Jerusalem, Jesus' Second Coming, His return to gather up those who have already died and those of us "left behind" - His followers still alive here on earth.

The rewards He gives are given to His followers based on their works -- their obedience to His commandments.

If you have not accepted the Son of God as your personal Lord and Savior no amount of work for Him will get you even inside His gates.

Don't be fooled.
