I watched with intent interest the last half of a program titled "Speechless: Silencing the Christians'' www.silencingchristians.com on insp.com Saturday night. Christians should not become downtrodden and squashed, 'speechless,' but stand up for what they believe.
Commentator Janet Parshall talked about separation of church and state and that its not absolute and the double standards allowed in schools across our country, i.e., such as its okay to study Islam and pray to Allah but not to study Christianity and pray to God.
The U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights were discussed, especially the First Amendment, which says: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
That to me includes Christianity, not everything except. No one should prohibit the free exercise of Christianity, the right of Christians to peaceably assemble, the right of Christians to petition the Government.
The program is a must see, whether you view it on television or online. Check it out. Take a stand. Make yourself heard.
It's the journey ... not the destination. ... The journey ... my eyes were opened and I knew Him and my heart was changed. ... Won't you join me in my travels, meandering here and there, journeying within my mind and beyond, on paths great and small, through this world that was created by and belongs to the Lord God Almighty.
